Paul Alcorn

We arrived to check in 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Within 5 minutes they put us on the airboat, 20 minutes before the scheduled time, but they would NOT let us put on spray sunscreen while on the boat. The captain said we couldn’t put on sunscreen while in the boat, and he wouldn’t allow us off the boat to apply sunscreen, insisting we had to leave NOW. He also said that we had had plenty of time to put it on… but we didn’t! The boat left 20 minutes early! He wouldn’t let us put sunscreen on ourselves or our children and it was 105 degrees heat index in the full sun for an hour. We all got sunburned severly as a result. Also, when the boat is moving you can’t hear a word the guide says on the headsets. He was speaking the whole time but nobody could hear over the headsets. He stopped the boat after multiple people of the 10 on the boat complained, said it was normal that we couldn’t hear him when the boat was on, and then started going again, talking the whole time while no one could hear him. Not one single word could be heard or understood over the headsets. The guide was extremely rude, to put it lightly.
